NYSC camps shutdown due to the fear and spread of COVID-19

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) this morning has shut down all orientation camps around the country in other to mitigate the risk and spread of the coronavirus.

The Batch A corps members started their orientation on 10th March should have been in their camps for 3 weeks, but according to the information reaching us, All NYSC corp members will start receiving their letters which will designate them to their location of the major assignment.

Coronavirus has so far claimed the lives of over 7000 persons worldwide and just a few cases have sprung up in Nigeria in recent weeks, although no deaths have been recorded so far.

Corppers are still yet to recover from the shocking information they received in the early hours of this morning due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Processing of their letters according to the information reaching us, has begun already.
