Liverpool now worth £1billion as place in most valuable clubs is revealed


FSG’s and Jurgen Klopp’s good work at Liverpool is underlined by landmark assessment of the club in the new study.

Liverpool has been valued at more than one BILLION pounds in a study into football’s richest football brands. The Reds are said to be worth £1.02bn, which places them sixth in a report compiled by Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy.


Liverpool has retained the position despite having increased their value by 20% thanks to another run to the Champions League final as well as a strong challenge for the Premier League title.


Top six

Real Madrid:- £1.42bn

Manchester United:- £1.27bn

Barcelona :- £1.2bn

Bayern Munich:- £1.13bn

Manchester City:-  £1.08bn

LIVERPOOL :- £1.02bn


However, the Reds’ total puts them above Premier League rivals Chelsea, Arsenal and

Champions League final opponents Tottenham Hotspur, with French side Paris Saint-Germain completing the top 10.


The top-six clubs account for over 40% of the overall brand value in the Brand Finance Football 50 ranking, underlining the concentration of wealth and the creation of a set of “super clubs”.
