On a cool Sunday evening, November 18, at the SideWalk Restaurant and Bar, Victoria Island, the loud music from the DJ would make you assume it’s a birthday party. Actually, it was. It was the birthday celebration of celebrity fashion stylist Tolu Bally’s baby, 2207ByTbally. Two years ago she had started the 2207ByTbally fashion company lending her expertise to celebrities, corporate executives, entertainers and the public who appreciate quality and affordable fashion pieces.

She has worked so hard to attract the attention of some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry such as Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Ini Edo, Toyin Abraham, Lilian Afegbai, Linda Osifo, Lilian Esoro, Anto and a host of others. At the two years anniversary, almost all of these names were present but beyond them, there was a teeming number of people who had always wanted to have a piece of her products but have not been able to due to the notion that her services were only available to celebrities.

No wonder the celebrity fashion stylist could boast of selling out all the products that were made available on the day. Tolu Bally was full of joy and excitement as she publicly declared how successful the anniversary sales party was. Foods, drinks, champagne, doughnuts, small chops and everything you can think of was available to guests for free. I guess this was a propeller for guests to bring out their purses and ATM cards to make available their money to the 2207ByTbally brand.
By all standards, the Tolu Bally’s 2207ByTbally two years anniversary was a success judging from celebrity attendance to the 10 million naira sales from just a less than 7 hours event. Tolu Bally herself expressed surprise and shock but says “This is the kind of surprise I like”.
