Reds travel to Emirates to take on in-form Londoners on Saturday week
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has sent a message to Liverpool as their Emirates showdown looms on the horizon.
The Reds travel to North London a week on Saturday with both teams challenging at the top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal was considered outsiders at the start of the season but a 3-1 home triumph over Leicester City on Monday evening was a 10th straight win in all competitions and moved them up to fourth, just two points behind Jurgen Klopp’s side.
And Emery – who masterminded Sevilla’s Europa League final win over Liverpool in 2016 before taking over at Arsenal in the summer – has revealed the Reds are in his sights.
“I think we need to continue with calm, each match is a big chance to continue in our way,” said Emery.
“It was very important to win (on Monday) because Leicester is close to us. “But it’s important for us to think about that at the end. We have to keep working to improve in our way and tactically, to find the best performance.”
