Jose Mourinho charged by FA for alleged abusive language

Jose Mourinho has been charged by the FA for allegedly using abusive language following Manchester United’s win over Newcastle.

The United manager appeared to be letting off steam in front of the television cameras as he headed towards the tunnel after watching his team come from 2-0 down to defeat Rafael Benitez’s side in stoppage time at Old Trafford.

There were claims on social media that Mourinho said “fodas filhos de puta” in Portuguese, which translates to “f— off sons of ab—-”.

according to the translates Jose Mourinho over comments he made in Portuguese to a television camera after Manchester United’s game against Newcastle United.  FA statement read: “It is alleged that his language at the end of the fixture, as captured by the broadcast footage, was abusive and/or insulting and/or improper.

“He has until 6 pm on October 19 to respond to the charge.”
