Five cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP, of the Police Academy Wudil, Kano and two different travelers lost their lives on Sunday in an auto collision along the bad Kano-Zaria expressway.
The cadets, including a female cadet ASP Aisha Bello, were said to be en route home after a semester break when the Golf car they were in, had a head-on impact with a J5 model vehicle.
Ms. Bello Aisha was an Ameera (pioneer) of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, MSSN, in the institute. A witness disclosed to Daily Trust that the two vehicles were immersed in fire after the crash which prompted the demise of seven individuals including the five cadets. The cadets were distinguished as Cadet ASP Aisha Bello (Sociology); Cadet ASP Abdulrahman Dari (Physics); Cadet ASP AM Bello (Physics); Cadet ASP Yusuf Shehu (Sociology); Cadet ASP Rufai Dikko (Computer Science) and; Cadet ASP El-Yaqub.
