A senior magistrate court 2 in Lokoja, Kogi state has remanded Senator Dino Melaye, official representing Kogi West in Police custody till June eleventh, 2018.
Dino Melaye, who was brought into the court in a police emergency vehicle was blamed for financing guns. The beset senator was on Thursday charged at the Magistrate court in Lokoja, Kogi state.
As per reports, Melaye who was on Wednesday summoned at the Chief Magistrates Court, Wuse for criminal connivance and given bail for N90 million was re-captured to promptly confront other criminal allegations against him in Lokoja, Kogi State.
The Force base camp, in an announcement by its representative, Jimoh Moshood had stated, “Senator Dino Melaye was charged in court by the Police today, second May, 2018 at the Chief Magistrate Court, Wuse, Abuja for Criminal conspiracy, damaging government property, attempted suicide and escape from legal custody.”
Nonetheless, Melaye was brought into the court premises in an emergency vehicle in the midst of overwhelming security.
