The truth came to limelight a day after her debut album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ reached gold status less than 24 hours after release. The female rapper performed ‘Be Careful’ on the comedy show, Saturday Night Live, and the camera showed a visible baby bump.
Backstage, she said “I’m finally free” while making her way through a crowd of well-wishers. After her performance, Offset tweeted a photo of the couple and wrote: “Cardi and I look forward to our next chapter together.”
The success of ‘Invasion of Privacy’ which was put out on Friday makes the 25-year-old the first female artiste to bag a certified gold album immediately after its release. An album project is certified gold after a half a million sales or equivalent units. The rapper and her rapper fiancé, Offset, are expecting their first child together.
