The Federation Account Allocation Committee meeting which failed to arrive at a decision yesterday, has been rescheduled for today.
The development followed the inability of the meeting to arrive at the amount to be distributed by the three tiers of government for the month of March.
The Accountant General of the Federation, Malam Ahmed Idris, who presided over the meeting reportedly said that the submission of the NNPC was not acceptable to the committee and at such, he would not make any distribution or disbursement.
He therefore directed that the meeting be reconvened to reconcile the gray areas.
Already, there is massive apprehension that the situation will make salary payment across the states and the federal agencies unlikely pending the re-continuation of the committee and resolution of the issues as stated.
