Federal Government Declares Friday and Monday as Public Holidays

The Federal Government has declared Friday, March 30th, and Monday, April 2nd,  2018, as public holidays to mark the Good Friday and Ester Monday respectively.

The Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau (rtd), made the announcement yesterday in Abuja on behalf of the Federal Government.

He used the opportunity to enjoin Christian faithful and other Nigerians to imbibe the message of Ester which includes love, peace and sacrifice, in contributing to the unity of the country.

Lt. Gen Dambazau (rtd) also urged Nigerians to remain supportive of the Federal Government in its efforts to building a peaceful, united  and prosperous country.
