The All Progressive Congress (APC) is set to host its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting today Tuesday, March 27.
The meeting which is coming barely a month after the last one, was meant to discuss the fallout of the tenure elongation for the party’s current executive.
Security operatives have reportedly been seen carrying out survilance operations at the party’s headquarters in Abuja in preperation for the meeting.
Recall that yesterday, Monday, March 26, President Muhammadu Buhari led other top government officials elected on the APC platform to a meeting of the party’s national caucus in the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
In attendance at the caucus meeting were the party’s National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki, the House of Representatives Speaker, Hon Yakubu Dogara, among others.
Noticeably absent at the caucus meeting was the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
