President Muhammadu Buhari has directed security agencies to improve their strategies on intelligence gathering for accuracy in deployment so that criminal activities across the country can be brought to an end.
President Buhari gave the directive while interacting with political leaders, traditional rulers, elders and victims of criminal attacks especially from Fulani herdsmen, in Zamfara State.
He used the occasion to assure security agents of improved conditions that would facilitate the arrest of criminals that kill innocent Nigerians.
President Buhari also stressed that the war against corruption would be reinvigorated and sustained until public officers who were accused of corruption faced the wrath of the law.
On Fulani herdsmen attacks, President Buhri said there is the need to revisit and review the herds grazing area arrangement that guaranteed harmonious coexistence between farmers and herdsmen where differences were amicably resolved.
