Six People Are Dead After An Explosion At A Chemical Plant In The Czech Republic

The blast occurred at 10 am local time at the unipetrol plant in Kralupy nad Vltavou, north of the capital Prague. We have received information about six dead and several others seriously injured. Fire service spokesman Vladimira Kurkova told the local CTK news Agency.

The cause of the explosion is still unclear and police said residents were not thought to be in danger.
