Despite Boko Haram attacks and widespread killings by Fulani herdsmen across parts of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his administration’s commitment to fulfilling its campaign promises to improve the living standards of the citizenry.
He maintained that the government is working hard to improve the existing infrastructure across the country.
President Buhari who made the pronouncements at the launch of the Focus Labs for the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) held at the Presidential Villa Abuja, expressed satisfaction at the successes recorded with the country’s ease of doing business ranking.
According to him, the ERGP Focus Labs were designed to accelerate development and investments.
He also explained that he had directed Ministers and heads of government agencies to be available to the participants of the labs to respond to their inquiries and other issues.
In his submissions, the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator Udo Udoma said that both local and international confidence in the economy had been restored as the economy was on the path of growth in all sectors.
