The Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of operations, Mr Joshak Habila, has stated that the increased collaboration between security agencies will facilitate the rescue of the abducted Chibok and Dapchi schoolgirls in Borno and Yobe States.
Mr Habila made assertion while interacting with newsmen in Damaturu, the capital of Yeboe state where he said he had gone to met with the state government and education stakeholders.
He explained that the Police and the Civil Defense Corps had already deployed personnel to the schools in the state.
The Deputy Inspector General therefore urged officers and men of the police command in the state to be on alart.
Mr Habila used the occasion to stress the importance of community policing and building confidence on the people asserting that the police is capable of protecting members of the public.
