FG Inaugurates a 12-Man Committee to Investigate the Abduction of 110 Dapchi School Girls

As has been its normal practice under certain circumstances, the Federal Government of Nigeria has set up a 12-man committee to unravel the circumstances surrounding the abduction of 110 students of the Government Science and Technical College Dapchi, Yobe State, by Boko Haram Islamic terrorists.

In a statement, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said that the committee was convened by the National Security Adviser, Brig Gen Babagana Monguno rtd.

He further explained that the committee to be chaired by a military officer of the rank of Major General comprises one senior provost each from the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Navy, and Air Force, two representatives of the Yobe State Government and the representative of the National Security Adviser.

The committee panel which to be inaugurated on Wednesday, is expected to submit its report on the March 15.
