The All Progressive Congress (APC) will hold its National Executive Committee meeting today, Tuesday, February 27, in Abuja the federal capital territory.
Top on the agenda are the non-elective national convention of the party, managing the crisis within the APC, and some national issues.
President Buhari is expected to preside over the meeting which will have elected Governors on the platform of the party, members of the Board of Trusties and the National Working Committees members in attendance.
Meanwhile, the President yesterday nigh called on his party, the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to prepare itself for congresses at words, local governments, states and the federal now that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the timetable for 2019 general election.
Buhari who stressed the need for the party’s officials and members to strictly follow the party’s constitution in all directions and decisions for them to succeed pointed out that his administration has done well given the state of the nation at the time he came into office.
State Governors, National Assembly members, National Working Committee members of APC, and other party chieftains attended the caucus meeting hosted by the President at the chambers of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
