The Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) has directed workers at the National Population Commission (NPC) to suspend their ongoing strike to give room for dialogue.

The NLC President, Comrade Ayuba Waba and his Trade Union Congress counterpart, Mr Boboye Kaigama gave the directive while addressing aggrieved NPC workers in Abuja.

The NPC workers who protested at the Federal Capital Territory carried placards with various inscriptions calling for the sack of the Director General of the NPC, Alhaji Ghaji Bello, who was appointed recently by President Muhammadu Buhari.
