Recent report from Northern Nigeria has indicated that the dreaded Boko Haram jihadists have killed five people in an attack on a village in Adamawa State.
The report quoted a community leader and another resident as reporting that a group of 10 militants stormed their village, Kaya, at about 9:00 pm in the Madagali area late on Thursday and broke into two homes, killing four people on the spot.
It added that another resident was gunned down by the Islamic Jihadists as he tried to rescue some victims of the attack

A former Chairman of Madagali Local Government Area, Malam Maina Ularama gave account of what transpired.
In his words –
“Five people were shot dead last night by Boko Haram in Kaya village, three of them brothers living in the same house.
They killed another person in a house close by. The fifth victim was killed when he rushed towards the area to rescue the victims after hearing their cries for help.”
Kaya village has witnessed series of attacks from Boko Haram including one in June, 2016 which claimed the lives of 18 mourners who had gathered to bury some dead victims.
