Activities of Fulani Herdsmen if Unchecked Could Cause a Civil War,’ – ACRNF

The All Cross River Nationalities Front, a group consisting of indigenes of Cross River State has taken on the Federal Government on its poor handling of the waves of killings by Fulani herdsmen in some parts of the country.

In a statement issued by its Chairman, Mr. Edet Asim, the group warned that the development was capable of triggering a civil war in the country.

According to ACRNF,

“We are unable to understand how a band of herders can invade one community after another for years and a responsible government cannot bring anybody to book.

We are not convinced that the invaders are ghosts. So, the Federal Government must be held to account for not performing its duty of protecting the lives and property of Nigerians.”
