NLC Meets with Federal Government over N56,00 Minimum Living Wage

The leadership of the Nigerian Labor Congress, NLC, has expressed assurance that the Federal Government will give the Nigerian workers a better living wage.

The NLC National President, Malam Ayuba Waba, made the disclosure ahead of the meeting between the union and the Federal Government scheduled to take place today, Monday, November 27 in Abuja.

Malam Wabba explained that apart from the living wage, pensioners will also be covered in the meeting with the Federal Government with the hope that all their entitlements will be cleared.

In his own submissions, the NLC Secretary, Dr. Ozo-Eson, said that the NLC has entered into talks with the Federal Government to ensure that they pay the N56,000 minimum living wage the labor union is asking for.
