A total of 19 Vehicles have reportedly been impounded along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway by a team of the Lagos State traffic management authorities over the weekend for disobeying traffic rules.
Reacting to the development, the Chief Magistrate of the Lagos Mobile Court before whom the owners of the impounded vehicles are to be arraigned, Emos Olajuwon, said that the culprits would be face the full wrath of the law.
Olayinka Okpeyemi, chairman of the Lagos traffic task-force team explained that out of the 19 vehicles impounded, 12 were private while the rest were commercial vehicles.
He maintained that the task-force would not relent in carrying out it duties to ensure that motorists comply with subsisting traffic laws in order to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the state.
