Solidarity Action Network Tasks Government on Improved Healthcare Delivery in Nigeria


The need for the government to pay more attention to the health sector in the country has been canvased by a non-governmental organisation, the Solidarity Action Network.

The group insisted that not only should the government properly fund health institutions around the country but should equally carry out routine evaluation on them to ensure they maintain the required standards.

Chairman of Solidarity Action Network, Omotola Omotosho, spoke on behalf of the organization at a ceremony organised by the Sickle Cell Foundation at Idi Araba, Lagos.

Speaking at the occasion, a 52-year-old sickle cell patient shared some survival tips which include eating of balanced diet, regular excessive, having adequate rest, avoiding stress and so on.
