Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Board has announced that intended pilgrims in the state will have to pay N1.3 million for next years Hajj.
The disclosure was made yesterday, Tuesday, November 21, in Lagos by the board’s Secretary, Alhaji Muftau Okoya who spoke to newsmen on activities in preparation to next year’s pilgrims exercise.
He explained that preparation for next year’s exercise was already on top gears so as to avoid the sort of logistics problem that nearly marred last year’s exercise.
Alhaji Okoya therefore enjoined the intending pilgrims to be prepared and abide by the rules and regulations of the body in order to ensure a hitch-free Hajj next year.
