Lagos L.G Chairman Raises Alarm over Poor Facilities at Govt. Hospitals in Shomolu

The Executive Chairman of Shomolu Local Government Area of Lagos State, Alhaji Abdul-Hammed Salawu has raised alarm over the very poor infrastructural facilities and other medical provisions at the state government owned hospital in the area.

Decrying the deplorable condition of the general hospital in the area, the Chairman, explained that the situation in which cases that could be handled at the hospital were being referred to private hospitals did not speak well for the government whose primary responsibility is to cater for the people.

Reacting to the ugly situation, the Medical Director of Shomolu government hospital, Dr. Sawo Olu, urged the government to as a matter of urgency repair facilities at the hospital so as to offer quality services and save lives.
