(Breaking) Five Killed in Boko Haram Attack in Maiduguri Today

A breaking news from Maiduguri, Borno State, has indicated that at least five people have been killed today, Monday, October 30, in a Boko Haram Islamic terrorist attack.

The attack, according to the leader of a Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) assisting the military in combating the terrorist group in Ajiri Yala, some 10 miles north of Maidugur, said that the attack took place at about 4:30 am local time.

He stated in a telephone interview as follows –

“A male suicide bomber disguised as a worshipper entered the mosque while people were gathering for the morning prayers,” he told AFP by telephone.

He detonated his explosives. He killed five people and injured several others.”

The Boko Haram Islamic terrorist group is no doubt stepping up its attack on both soft civilian targets and even the military.

Just last week, at least 15 soldiers were killed in a raid on a military camp north of Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state, a neighboring state to the terrorist hotbed of Borno.

The Abu Mus’ab al-Barnawi faction of the Islamic State terrorist group which backs Boko Haram, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
