The Yearly Body Count Starts Again as Four Nigerians Die in Saudi Arabia


Four Nigerian pilgrims to this year’s hajj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, have been reported dead.

The deaths were announced yesterday, Tuesday, August29, in Makkah by the chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Abdullahi Mohammed who, however, failed to disclose the identities of deceased nor the cause of their death.

He, nevertheless, assured that more information would be made available after the families of the deceased have been dully informed.

A record 81,200 Nigerian Muslim pilgrims are performing this year’s hajj.
