Ogun Police Nabs Suspected Human Trafficker, 8 Children Recovered


The Ogun State Police Command has yesterday, Monday, August 29, paraded one Paul Aganla, for allegedly engaging in human trafficking.

Paul Aganla was arrested last Saturday, August 26th, at Isiu, in Owode -Egba area of Ogun State.

Parading the suspected human trafficker before newsmen yesterday at the commands headquarters, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, disclosed that Mr. Aganla, a native of Ogoja, Cross River State, was caught with six children whose ages ranged between 7 and 13, and purportedly brought from Cross River State to Abeokuta to be engage as child laborers.

He gave the names of the rescued children as Promise Augustine, Elijah Emmanuel, Moses, Kariel, Victor Daniel, Glory Emmanuel and Felicia Owu.
