The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo left Abuja yesterday night to London where he spent an hour with ailing President Muhammadu Buhari who has been away on medical vacation for some weeks now.
The Acting President has since returned to Abuja after the brief meeting declining to issue any statements on the trip or the state of the president’s health.
However, the Acting President had earlier yesterday, Tuesday July 11, said the recessed Nigerian economy will recover fully in 18 months time.
He made the declaration at the Presidential Quarterly Business Forum held in Abuja stressing that despite the many problems besetting the nation, the economy has shown continues improvement and will eventually experience a complete turn around at the stipulated period.
Prof. Osinbajo therefore appealed that government funds should be spent it should be to avoid wastage and for the government goal of returning the economy in the path of growth is achieved.
Yesterday’s Presidential Quarterly Business Forum was attended by top business men and leaders in the economic sector.
