The UK Prime Minister Theresa May is currently under pressure to resign after her Conservative Party lost majority in Parliament.
A shortfall of this is the sharp decline in the value of the British currency, the Pound, as there is widespread fear that the Prime Minister will not be able to form a government and may possibly be forced out of office.
Political analysts have have commented that the twin terrorist attacks in London a few days ago had not helped though she had put forward a very vigorous campaign. Many are now questioning her decision to call for election three years earlier than the normal schedule.
At the time of filling this report, Prime Minister May is on her way to the Buckingham Palace to see the Queen about the possibility of forming a minority government
However, there is currently great uncertainty in the United Kingdom especially in the face of the impending Brexit talks.
