The four Arabian nations of Egypt, Bahrain, UAE, and Saudi Arabia have severed diplomatic ties with their kinsman, Qatar over its troubling relations with Iran and for its support of proscribed Islamist groups.
As at the moment, diplomatic staff from the four nations are being withdrawn from Qatar amidst announcement by mid-east regional airlines that they are suspending service from the nation’s capital, Doha.
Qatar condemned the move which it described as violation of its sovereignty by the four nations and has since denied supporting militant groups. It therefore termed the allegation against the nation as absolute fabrication which lacks substance.
Qatar is an oil rich country but the move by the four Arab nations has automatically cuts off land, sea and air routes from the outside world to the tiny country.
