Social Intervention Program satisfactory – Osinbajo

The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has expressed profound appreciation with the success recorded so far with the Buhari led administration’s Social Intervention Program. Speaking during the nation’s Democracy Day celebration held in Abuja on the 29th of May, Prof. Osinbajo affirmed that the intervention program is yielding tremendous result as it has turned some job seekers into employers of labor.

Prof. Osinbajo said that the program which is being implemented in various states in the country is the largest social investment project in Africa and that it is nonpartisan since it cuts across political parties.

The Social Intervention Program of the Federal Government is aimed at ameliorating the sufferings of vulnerable people and is expected to generate about 500,000 employment for graduates as well as train over 300,000 others.

Recall that N500 billion was set aside for disbursement to beneficiary last year in pursuit of the Social Intervention Program.
