The governing body of Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc has reported the selection of Mr Basil Omiyi as chairman of the board.
The race, which, as indicated by the bank, takes after the receipt of all required administrative endorsements, which ended up noticeably compelling on 15 May 2017. Omiyi was chosen as successor to Atedo Peterside who surrendered as executive of the board on March 31, 2017. Omiyi joined the board as a non-official chief in March 2015.
The new Stanbic IBTC Chairman, who is a previous Overseeing Chief and in addition a previous National Administrator of Shell Oil Development Organization of Nigeria Limited, is at present an autonomous non-official executive on the leading group of Seplat Oil Improvement Organization Plc.
He is additionally the Executive of Greenacres Energy Limited, the Nigerian Upstream Industry Group and the Oil and Gas Commission of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG).
Omiyi is an individual from the leading body of the Nigerian Business Group of New Patnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) and Nigerian Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (NEITI).
